Emil i Lönneberga

Emil in Lönneberga at Intiman is a family production running throughout autumn 2026, where I was responsible for both sound and lighting design. My goal was to create a modern and dynamic lighting design, with timecoded musical sequences and around 300 lighting cues, while keeping the dialogue scenes more natural and understated. The rig included 14 new Martin MAC Encore Two fixtures, which gave me plenty of creative possibilities throughout the production. MusikalKalendern wrote: “The lighting and sound by Edvard Sandquist are equally solid and well-crafted, but I thought this year’s lighting was especially beautiful.”
